INTIMATE MOUNTAIN WEDDING In Canmore, Alberta || ALISON AND LINDEN ||
The moment I met Alison for our consultation I knew I had made a friend. I met Linden at their engagement session and I immediately felt the same with him too. These two are the definition of welcoming, kind, and so deeply thoughtful.
When I first booked with Alison and Linden their big day looked a heck of a lot different that it turned out! These two had planned a local Edmonton ceremony with around 150 guests. COVID decided against that one! Working with these two to alter their plans was so easy (although I’m sure it was much more stressful on their end behind closed doors!) and I couldn’t be more thankful. To quote their wonderful officiant Lee during their ceremony on her conversation with Alison and Linden: “We aren’t getting married to have a party. We’re getting married because we want to be married.”
They opted for an intimate ceremony in Canmore at Stewart Creek Golf Club amongst their immediate families, a downsize to about 20! The day was filled with love, beautiful moody mountain weather and a whole lot of laughs! Their handwritten vows were so special and the speeches were so well done! Not to mention the deeeeelicious charcuterie board!
Their reception at the Canmore Brewing Company was like a big dinner with friends for me! Their 12 year old nephew made a marriage advice book, we played a number game and toasted with local beer! I finished the day feeling so fulfilled and special that I got to be included in this beautiful day. Gaining clients that turn into friends is something I cherish so deeply.
